IMPORT EPLANT 3D MODEL - MORE

EPLANT 3D Models should not be imported using the INSERT + EXPLODE command sequence to avoid disrupting the layer structure of the EPLANT model. Each 3D model uses the same codified layer names for lines (with CLR prefix) and equipments (with EE prefix), but in each model the same layer name will be associated to a different line or equipment.

PD_UTI/Import/Include EPLANT 3D Model command will execute the INSERT + EXPLODE command sequence, but will rename imported layers in a way that each line and each equipment will be in a different layer.

Moreover should a line be found duplicated in both models, the command allows to merge both lines to became the same, or to rename the imported one to remain a different one. The same in case of duplicated equipments.

Remember that the XREF command if fully supported by every EPLANT command, so in principle there is no need to include models if your project is made of several separate dwgs, unless at a given moment, you need to consolidade everything in a single model, for example at the end of the project or before Exporting to Naviswroks.
