EPLANT-Piping Advanced Tutorial: PROJECT

SYSTEM SETUP

EPLANT-Piping System Setup is used as a Template to create a New Project and to set specific global parameters, such as the Language used by the System Interface.

EPLANT-Piping Project Setup allows to specify at the Project level most of the configurable parameters used in a project, such as Formats, Rules, and more. A detailed description of each available option is given below.

FLUID AND COLOR TABLE

If in the Project Setup 3D Models: Colors option, the Piping Component Color is set By Fluid the corresponding table is enabled.

LINES / EQUIPMENTS STATUS

The link between Equipments and Piping Lines is automatically established using the Equipment Name and the Line Name. For any other objects (Valves, Instruments, etc.) look the following video for detail:
