IMPORT 3D EPLANT MODEL

In case one EPLANT 3D Model have to be merged with another one, the Import command has to be used. This command will automatically rename the imported model layers to avoid superposition in Equipment and Piping Line layers and check for dupplication in their definitions.

EXPORT EPLANT 3D MODEL TO NAVISWORKS

EPLANT 3D Models can be in principle directly imported from a NavisWorks session because EPLANT always generates True DWG format drawing files, but the layer structure of an EPLANT models can be confusing. For this reason and to be able to query any component for its characterics, the Export to NavisWorks command can be used.

EXPORT EPLANT 3D MODEL TO PDMS

EPLANT 3D Models can be exported to a neutral file that can be converted to a PDMS compatible format file using the EPLANT-PDMS Converter, which is available as a separate program. The command is:

PD_UTI/Export/Export to PDMS

EXPORT LINES TO PCF FORMAT

This command generates a PCF format file compatible with Isogen, Stress Analysis and Simulation programs. Each selected line is exported to a file placed in the /project/PCF/DWG folder. This command must be enabled in the Project Setup: General Options 2.
