EPLANT-Piping V2021.0

Documentation of changes with respect V2020.0

Listed below are the most important changes of this version with respect to the former 2020.0 one. Current version is compatible with AutoCADŽ from version 2004 up to 2022.
Current version is also compatible with ZWCAD 2018 SP2, ZWCAD 2019 SP1, ZWCAD 2020, ZWCAD 2021, ZWCAD 2022.

GRAPHIC MODULE

It contains the following changes with respect to the 2020.0 version:

• AutoCAD 2022. This EPLANT-Piping version is compatible with the current AutoCAD 2022 version.
• ZWCAD 2022. This EPLANT-Piping version is compatible with current ZWCAD 2022.
• Pipe Cut in 2D Plans. The command that was used to cut a segment of the projection of a pipe has been modified to be compatible with the current version of the 2D Plan Generator. This command now inserts special cylinders that are subtracted to a pipe during the 2D Plan generation to make visible objetcs below.
  Insert it from the menu PD_UTI / Annotations / Horizontal Pipe Cut.



• Flexible Pipe. The new component PIF was created to represent a Flexible Pipe that is computed as a fitting, taking account its caracterics including its lenght. Its geometry can follow a 2D or 3D polyline. All end codes are supported.
  Generate it from the menu PD_1 / Pipes / Flexible Pipe on Polyline.



• Component Annotation. Both for Plan 2D drawings and Isometrics a new annotation option has been added to enable annotating with component parameters values. The syntax for annotating components has been enhanced adding two more key words:
  - PAR[i] = the number i component parameter value. Valid values for i >= 1 <= 9.
  - TRI_A = angle for trimmed elbows, expressed in sexagesimal degrees. For regular elbows not trimmed, this angle is zero.

  To set for these options in 2D Plans take the menu command:
  PD_UTI / Annotations / Automatic / Settings
  and select the FORMAT button. In the menu select: Component Parameter.
  
  To set for these options in isometrics take the menu command:
  PD_ISO / Annotations / Automatic / Settings
  and select the FORMAT button. In the menu select: Component Parameter.
• Error Corrections
  - 2D Plan Annotation Correction error when placing the Pipe Vertical Cut Symbol in projections different from plan.
  

DATA BASE MODULE

It contains the following changes with respect to the 2020.0 version:

• Flexible Pipe Compatible to Pipes generated on polylines, but to be computed in reports as fittings.
