EPLANT-Piping V 2010.2

Documentation changes with respect V2009.0

Listed below are the most important changes of this version with respect to the former 2009.0 one. Current version is compatible with AutoCADŽ from version 2000 up to 2012.

UTILITIES

Changes with respect to the 2010.0 version:

• Ep_Client.exe New version. It is disabled in Vista or higher Operating System.
• Ep_Client_w7.exe New EPLANT Client to be used in Vista or higher Operating System.

GRAPHIC MODULE

Changes with respect to the 2010.1 version:

• AutoCADŽ 2012. Compatible with the latest 2012 version of AutoCADŽ both 32 and 64 bits.
• x64 Operating Systems The Hardkey hardlock is now compatible also with x64 bits Operating Systems.
• Error Corrections
  Pipe to Pipe Errors in placing Pipes with some new options have been corrected.

Changes with respect to the 2010.0 version:

• Branch Tables Selecting the new menu option: PD_1 / Branch / Branch Table, the selection of the component that will be placed in a branch connection is automatically driven by the Branch Table corresponding to the Piping Specification in use. If the mandatory checking of the Branch Tabes is enabled, only allowed components can be placed, also manually. A sequence of more than one component and more than one option can be specified for a given diameter combination.
  
• Pipe to Pipe In Pipe to Pipe connection, both the first and the second end can be conected to another pipe as branch. The branch table is also supported.
  
• Component Rotate Axis It allows now to rotate a set of components around the axis of the first selected one.
• End and Distance Both the reference and the selected point on axis are now correctly shown using a cross drawn over the screen. It is now possible to set a vertical displacement or slope.
• Dialog Boxes Memory Windows used as dialog boxes during component placement remember their last position when called again.
• Error Corrections
  End and Distance Modifies as due the distance along the axis using the values of TOP and BOP if enabled.

Changes with respect to the 2009.0 version:

• AutoCADŽ 2011. This EPLANT-Piping version is compatible with the latest 2011 version of AutoCADŽ both 32 and 64 bits. It is also compatible with AutoCADŽ 2010 64 bits.
• PCF Export. New command to export piping lines to PCF format, compatible with Isogen.
• Navisworks Export. It generates now Internal / External / Alternate Material Codes if these options are enabled in the project setup.
• New HARDkey support. In addition to the Sentinel hard-locks, there is the possibility to use the Local and Net HARDkey hard-locks. The later allows connecting only one net lock in the computer where the system is installed and using floating licenses in the client machines.
• Error Corrections
  - Setup Isometric Name Full compatibility with && syntax, specific definition notwithstanding.
  - Gasket Thickness Error correction that interfered in gasket thickness checking during component placement.
  - Isometric Slope Placing slope symbol does not stop checking for XY plane projections.
  - Spool Verification Correction of errror that changed the components layers to 0.
  - Reduction Crossing Correction for reducton diameter.
  - Alternate Code Error correction: the code could not generate before.
  - 2D Plans Annotations Error correction: Paper / Model Space setting for notes was previously mistaken apparently at random.
  

DATA BASE MODULE

Changes with respect to the 2010.1 version:

• x64 Operating Systems The Hardkey hardlock is now compatible also with x64 bits Operating Systems.

Changes with respect to the 2010.0 version:

• Branch Tables Support. New menu opening Piping Specification with the option to select the Branch Tables associated to each class.
• Piping Specification Utilities. New option to manage Branch Tables and some changes in the position of previous options.
• Piping Specification Checking. New Branch Tables checking.
• Error Corrections
  Fittings/Flanges Specification Generation Error Correction of the second end that never generated.

Changes with respect to the 2009.0 version:

• System Setup. New option to allow Hard-lock type setup.
• Project Setup. New option to enable the PCF Export command.
• Error Corrections
  - Material Manual Loading correction of minor errors.
  - Cost/External/Alternate Utilities When generating materials from specifications allows to have secondary diameter ranges greater that main diameter ranges, to take account Relief Valves.
  - Interface Language Change changes AutoCAD protected menu files also.
  - System Setup does not incorrectly detect error in the Internal Code definition.
  - Specification Utilities correction of the error that prevented the loading of the description associated to each class in case of copy and rename.
