EPLANT-P&ID V 2009.0
CHANGES IN CURRENT 2009.0 VERSION WITH RESPECT TO THE PREVIOUS ONE 2008.0
GRAPHIC MODULE
Incorporates the following changes:
- AutoCADŽ 2010. This EPLANT-Piping version is compatible with the latest 2010 version
of AutoCADŽ.
- AutoCAD Menu
The EPLANT-P&ID menu has now only three bars: the first one for P&ID and the second one for Utilities.
The old third bar (Flow Diagrams) is no longer available.
- Equipment Descriptions
Additional parameters can be loaded as Equipment Descriptions in the Description Blocks, that
can be associated to each equipment and inserted and moved in any place of the drawing, but
remain linked to each equipment.
- Attribute Editor
This command is now compatible with the additional descriptions blocks and the P&ID Document Number
block.
- P&ID Document Number Block
Executing this command, previous block (if any) is updated to the current format (that contains
a new attribute to store the Flow Composition Table).
- Convert P&ID older than V2009
This new command allows to automatically convert P&IDs created with previous versions, adding a new attribute
to each line definition block (to store the flow current number) and modifies the P&ID Document Number Block
using the new version which includes the Flow Composition Table attribute.
- Flow Current Compositions
They are now loaded in Excel files, instead of drawing files as before. Mapping of the reading cells and
writing columns in the Line data base table is done conveniently in the same Excel file. These
XLS files are placed in the project FD folder. Former dwg drawing files in this folder are no longer
read.
- Define New Symbol
This new command allows to easily define a new symbol and its slide.
- Automatic Slides Generation
This command substitutes the older one in Lisp and it is used to easily generate slides associated
with the project symbology and used in the menus.
- Automatic Symbols Placement
This command substitutes the older one in Lisp and it is used to easily document an existing
symbology library.
DATA BASE MODULE
Incorporates the following changes:
- Excel Reports
Reports in the data base module can be generated directly to XLS files using predefined templates
that can be modified by the user.
- Data Sheet Generation
Data Sheets can now be automatically generated combining data extrated from diagrams with data from
a project reference file and using Excel templates as Data Sheets templates.
- Description Blocks
This new option allows to define and modify the descriptive texts preloaded into the description
blocks associated to equipments.
