EPLANT-P&ID V 5.1.2
CHANGES IN CURRENT 5.1.2 VERSION WITH RESPECT TO THE PREVIOUS ONE 5.1.1
GRAPHIC MODULE
Incorporates the following changes:
- AutoCAD 2004 support. A patch is provided to use EPLANT-P&ID with AutoCAD
2004. It must be installed over a full installation for 2000.
- Menu. There are lot of changes in the bar and toolbar menues.
- Line Definition. A new window is used to define the line name: it
verifies that the new name is not defined yet in the current drawing file.
New Command.
- Equipment Definition. A new window is used to define the equipment name: it
verifies that the new name is not defined yet in the current drawing file.
New Command.
- Line/Equipment Name Change. A new window is used to change Line or
Equipment names. Checks for unique names in the current drawing files. New Command.
- Attribute Editing. The project setup can define that, after a symbol insertion,
a new Attribute Editing box is displayed allowing to enter attribute values. This
Attribute Editing command can also be called at any moment later. New Command.
- Attribute Box. During symbol insertion and at any moment later, a box centered
on a symbol attribute can be automatically placed, with a reference line connecting
the box to the symbol. Modified command.
- Move Box with Attributes. The Attribute Box can be moved along with its
linked attributes and the reference line. New command.
- Draw Line. This command uses the new project settings to assign colors
to different line types. Modified command.
- Line Cut. This command uses the new project settings to define the cut
criteria in line crossing when lines are of different types. Modified command.
- Project Settings. Those settings that were stored in the drawing files
have been eliminated: now all project settings are stored in files shared by all
project drawing files and can be modified from the data base module only.
- ISA Standard. The new ISA symbology standard has been incorporated. The
symbology directories are now nested in the new STD installation directory.
- New Symbols. Generating a new symbol is now easier: the symbol must be stored
in the corresponding symbology directory with its slide. It has to conform to the
prefix name and attribute structure corresponding to its class. There is no need
to regenerate a slide library anymore.
DATA DASE MODULE
Incorporates the following changes:
- Project Settings. Three new buttons have been added:
General Parameters: Incorporates those parameters that were set from the drawing
file and some other new ones.
Attribute Loading and Boxes: allows to define whether after symbol
insertion the Attribute Editing window will open to allow attribute loading and
attribute box definition.
Line Types and Colors: assigns an AutoCAD color to each Line Type.
