To install EPLANT-Piping from the pde_2023.exe program downloaded from the web site: execute it and follow the instructions.
In both cases check for the latest available patch in the EPLANT-Piping download section of our web site.
Important! In case of installing a patch or a new version, leave the previous installed one and install over it. This will allow the installer to automatically incorporate new System Codes that were created by the user in the previous version.
For Network and Floating Licenses please look to the User Manual for details.
In case you are running the EPLANT-Piping Evaluation Version (neither hard-lock attached to your computer, nor active web license) you will be able to execute most of the EPLANT-Piping commands, but with some limitations.
EPLANT-Piping is made up of a Data Base Module and a Graphic Application.
Data Base Module is used to load Specifications, Setup the Current Project and Generate Material Reports. See an Overview of the Data Base Module.
Graphic Application is automatically loaded into the AutoCAD or ZWCAD session by the acad.lsp or zwcad.lsp script files that are found in each project folders.
The correct way to load the EPLANT-Piping Graphic Application is to double click the working dwg file directly on the Explorer window, without other AutoCAD or ZWCAD sessions open.
